What do we mean by the expression 'Living in the Interim'? It intimates that we, as Christians, live in the time between Christ's first coming to this earth, as a humble Man, and His coming again in power and glory. We live as strangers and pilgrims, following the rejected and crucified Lord, all the while waiting for His glorious return. The 'interim' is therefore the period of time between Pentecost and Parousia; between the descent of the Holy Spirit to gather the Church into one body and the coming of the Lord for His Church, followed by His appearing with all the saints.
